6.1 General Notes
Use Blue Loctite on all fasteners.
CAUTION - DO NOT ALLOW LOCTITE TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH PLASTIC SURFACES.
Chemical reaction occurs causing the plastic to prematurely deteriorate.
Avoid installing the BPU upside down.
There are some pre-cut holes in the mounting bracket to assist with fastening.
Usual installation methods include hose clamps, directly bolting to plant, or magnets.
6.2 Status Light

On a typical start up, the Status Light on the BPU will perform the following colour combination:
o 60s Green Slow Flash - System starting up
o 80s Red Solid - System starting up
o Green Solid - BPU Fully Operational
6.3 Reset Button
Reset button is not normally used
Functionality is to power cycle the unit for diagnosis and restarting the unit after a software update.

6.4 Tips
If BPU is installed vertically, sunshade is not necessary.
Try to have logo upright (Sensor cables are hanging towards ground) to prevent water ingress through cable connectors
Remove flaps on BPU to access mounting holes.
If possible, check if the BPU software needs to be upgraded and commence upgrades while preparing plant power and/or routing cables to save time.
