Installation Guide

User Notice

This Blindsight Installation Guide (“Guide”) is provided in conjunction with the Blindsight Installer Training. Do not undertake Blindsight installation using only this Guide.

This Guide is intended to aid Certified Blindsight Installers (“Installer”) to install, configure, and troubleshoot Blindsight. Do not attempt to install Blindsight without certification. Installers are fully licenced with a Certificate 3 in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent, and familiar with industry best-practice.

Presien does not know or advise the Installer of all conceivable installation procedures and their associated risks and outcomes. Installers must therefore be completely satisfied that they, Blindsight, any equipment, and the installation target will not be endangered by the selected tools and installation procedure.

Electrical systems are dangerous and capable of causing equipment damage and electrical shock. The Installer must disconnect batteries and power systems before performing any work.

DANGER, WARNING, and CAUTION are used to alert the Installer to particular risks. The Installer must comply with the special instructions. However, these notifications do not eliminate the risks, nor are they the only risks. The Installer must use industry best practice and common sense to identify and mitigate risks.

DANGER - Immediate hazards which WILL result in several personal injury or death.

WARNING - Hazards or unsafe practices which COULD result in severe personal injury or death.

CAUTION - Hazards or unsafe practices which could result in minor personal injury, or product or property damage.

All information, illustrations, and specifications contained in this Guide are based on the latest information available at the time of publication. Revisions may be issued from time-to-time without notification.
